AYANDA

Ayanda is one of three identical triplet sisters in the Tshazile – "She Who Shines" collection, a powerful seven-part portrait series honouring the beauty, strength, and spirit of African women. Her name means “they are increasing” — a symbol of growth, abundance, and the blossoming of legacy.

Together with her sisters Zinhle and Thandiwe, Ayanda shares a striking resemblance, yet each carries her own essence. These triplets reflect unity, youthful promise, and the strength of shared roots. As one of seven daughters in the series, Ayanda stands as a portrait of gentle power and radiant potential.

Painted in acrylic and ink on canvas, this original piece is a one-of-a-kind work from the African Queen Series, where every portrait tells its own unique story. Each sister shines, but together they become a luminous family of feminine grace.

I was encouraged to seek a more "stable" path... Read More >>
