This abandoned print has proved to be very popular in the collection. Peter Corbett, a fellow photographer and friend told Martin Osner about an abandoned aeroplane he had spotted out in the countryside. Not knowing that it was military property, Osner was briskly escorted off the grounds without taking a shot. After contacting the officer commanding the unit Martin finally got permission to return to photograph it for this collection. The story as to why the aeroplane was out of commission in an area where there is no runway, standing in the middle of a forest, remains a mystery.
Artist: MARTIN OSNER
Medium: Archival print on fine art paper
