ABOUT THE COLLECTION
Photographed after the fire had ravished the Fynbos on Table Mountain National Park. Fynbos is a species of botanical plants found in Southern Africa mostly regionalised to the Western and Northern Cape. There are known to be over eight thousand species with over six thousand of these endemic to the region. The word "Fynbos" translated simply means "fine bush". Fire is necessary for the evolution of the plant and without it, the plant species will be replaced by thicket species.
