This tribal portrait of a man called Mose was taken by Klaus Tiedge on location of the Maasai Tribe in Kenya. The Maasai are traditionally nomadic, pastoral people who live in the Rift Valley in Kenya. Mose is dressed in his traditional dress, and his eyes are bright and expressive and he appears to be proud and confident. Mose is a representative of his tribe and his story is a part of their history and culture.

German-born Klaus Tiedge (1965-2019) had been a prominent figure in commercial photography for more than 20 years, having worked in numerous countries, including India, Japan, Brazil and the USA.
