Précis - Divine Harmony

DIVINE HARMONY – Limited Edition Landscape Impression by Samantha Lee Osner

Divine Harmony is a serene, large-format mixed media artwork by Samantha Lee Osner, created in ink, oil, and acrylic on canvas. This minimalist composition evokes a sense of calm and emotional stillness, utilising soft colours, gentle textures, and atmospheric lighting to reflect the quiet, healing quality of open landscapes.

Part of Osner’s Précis collection, the artwork captures the distilled essence of place — a visual meditation on balance, beauty, and presence. The piece invites the viewer into a contemplative space where memory and landscape merge, gently stirring feelings of peace and introspection.

Accompanied by a poem written for the work by Craig O’Flaherty, Divine Harmony extends beyond visual art into a sensory and emotional dialogue. Its elegant simplicity and quiet resonance have also been chosen to represent the Blou Punt Chardonnay 2025 wine label — reflecting the character of the wine: subtle, luminous, and refined.

Landscape Précis by Craig O’Flaherty 2023

Landscape is that instant
where reality becomes
an irretrievable story.
A peace, that allows me to

step back into who I am.

Burnt beige, whispered blue -
delicate specks of myself
outlined in appreciation
of Nature’s healing, in a

world that’s lost itself.

Sunlight sashays with shadow,
in a rhythm of its own.
If only I could take this back
with me, I might not be

so absent from myself.

I try unceasingly to satiate
that emptiness with effort.
Echoes and outlines disappear,
I lose my way.

Moments in amber light
are where I might come home

to my true self again.

ABOUT THE COLLECTION

Samantha Lee Osner’s Précis collection began as a series of minimalist fine art photographs layered with subtle mixed media interventions. Over time, it has evolved into a deeper exploration of atmosphere and emotion — now expressed through painting and layered techniques in addition to photographic foundations.

The collection draws attention to the delicate relationship between humanity and the natural world. Some pieces depict small human figures suspended in vast landscapes, evoking both solitude and a sense of perspective. Others focus purely on light, texture, and memory. With a refined sense of calm and poetic simplicity, Précis invites viewers to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the serene and restorative qualities of the natural world.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

I feel incredibly fortunate to have discovered my passion for visual art early in life — and even more so to have found it under the guidance and mentorship of my father, fine art photographer Martin Osner. After studying at his photography school, I was quickly immersed in the world of commercial photography, where I learned to problem-solve under pressure and developed a strong understanding of lighting and visual composition.

In time, I was drawn away from commercial work and returned to my creative roots. What began as a journey in fine art photography has since expanded to include painting and mixed media — a transition that has allowed me to express myself with greater freedom and nuance.

An emotional response to light, space, and memory shapes my work today. Whether working through photography, paint, or textured layers, I aim to create art that feels quiet, soulful, and contemplative — a reflection of the way I see and experience the world.
