This magnificent lion was photographed by Klaus Tiedge in the Masai Mara, Kenya. Known as Semi, nicknamed "Earless", he was one of the notorious Notch brothers, a feared gang of male lions in the region.

The Pride of Africa portfolio was photographed by Klaus Tiedge (1965 - 2019), a German-born wildlife photographer who fell in love with Africa with the African bushveld. For ten years, he passionately worked on this incredible portfolio of stylized wildlife, limited edition art photography portfolio as he travelled throughout Namibia, Southern Africa and Kenya.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

German-born Klaus Tiedge (1965-2019) had been a prominent figure in commercial photography for more than 20 years, having worked in numerous countries, including India, Japan, Brazil and the USA. In 2001 Klaus moved to South Africa and settled down in Cape Town, taking full advantage of the thriving fashion industry and the region's optimal conditions.
